Limarko Sailing Cup Regatta
From 14 to 15 July 2014, in Dreverna Limarko Sailing Cup Regatta took place. The event which is already becoming a tradition was organised by sailing school Žiemys.
This year yachtsmen from Šiauliai, Plateliai, Nida and Klaipėda region competed in Laser radial, Laser 4.7 and Optimist yacht classes.
Weather conditions for race were tough this year because of the strong winds, with guests of up to 14 m/s.
The President of Limarko Group Vytautas Lygnugaris congratulated all the participants and presented the cups to the winners. He also wished success to yachtsmen in future regattas and, of course, the traditional Fair wind.
