Employees of the Limarko Group Insured against the Coronavirus
In the face of the threat of the coronavirus, the Limarko Group justified its name as a socially responsible organisation. In order to minimise the risk of the virus to the employees, the group of companies took all necessary preventive measures. However, financial stability is no less important under the conditions of a pandemic, and, therefore, the entire community of the Limarko Group has been insured against the consequences of the COVID-19 virus.
In the case of falling ill, the sick employees would receive, alongside the compulsory health and social insurance benefits, an additional Lietuvos Draudimas benefit. Such support is guaranteed by the decision of the Limarko Group management to insure all employees against the consequences of the coronavirus for six months.
At the beginning of the year, the social responsibility of the Limarko Group received an evaluation: Limarko Laivininkystės Kompanija AB took an honourable second place in the category of medium-sized enterprises in the National Responsible Business Awards initiated by the Ministry of Social Security and Labour of the Republic of Lithuania.
