First LNG bunkering from truck to ship was carried out in Klaipeda port
On 8th March, 2020 Limarko Group company Baltkonta UAB, in partnership with Cryo Shipping AS, successfully executed the first LNG bunkering operation from truck to ship. The fuel tank of vessel „Greenland“ was filled up with liquefied natural gas (LNG), this operation took only a few hours. According to available information ships will be bunkered every 9-14 days.
