Support of Limarko Group’s for medical practitioners of the port city does not stop even after the pandemic subsides

The Limarko Group community, which has repeatedly provided support with basic protection means to the port city medics during the COVID-19 pandemic, has again concentrated its assistance efforts. This time, in addition to the necessary protection measures – masks, gloves, overalls – it transferred two automatic syringe pump systems for the treatment of critically ill patients to the Republican Klaipėda Hospital.

“It is an honour for every socially responsible company to contribute to the well-being of the community. Face-to-face with the pandemic, medical personnel are the ones who need support the most. Therefore, we joined the Medical Institutions Support Fund without hesitation”, Vytautas Lygnugaris, President of Limarko Group, told about the decision to mobilise the community in support of medical institutions.

Together with Saulius Laumenis, Business Development Director of Limarko Group, they visited the Republican Klaipėda Hospital and learnt about the need for automatic syringe pump systems for the treatment of particularly severe patients.

The pumps are currently already in use in an intensive care unit specifically equipped for the pandemic. After it is closed, the systems will be moved to a regular intensive care unit.
