Limarko Maritime Agency UAB participated in the cruise business exhibition in Miami
From 14 to 17 of March, 2011, Limarko Maritime Agency UAB participated in the annual international cruise business exhibition “Cruise Shipping Miami 2011”.
For over 25 years Cruise Shipping Miami has been the leading international exhibition and conference serving the cruise industry. The exhibition attracts tens of thousands of visitors and 1000 exhibitors from more than 100 countries. At the conference the ongoing business issues were discussed: the present state of cruise shipping, future challenges, environmental issues, fleet renewal and development tendencies, ship building and design, on-board services and technologies, as well as cruise passenger service at the terminals and the attractiveness of those terminals.
The port of Klaipeda presented to the visitors its cruise services innovations, new shore excursions itineraries, infrastructure. Like every year the members of delegation produced new publications for this exhibition. The visitors were treated with Lithuanian national souvenirs and national dishes.
The main goal of participating in “Cruise Shipping Miami 2011” is to promote cruise shipping to the Klaipeda port, revealing to the cruise lines, travel agents and potential passengers Klaipeda’s regional attractions, informing them of new touristic services, Klaipeda port infrastructure, system of port dues for cruise ships.
