Limarko Group employees’ insurance against COVID-19 threats was extended
The management of Limarko Group has decided to extend the insurance for employees from the effects of the COVID-19 virus. With the onset of the pandemic, the community of the group of companies was insured for six months, and upon expiry of the term the insurance was extended for the same period.
In the event of accident, in addition to compulsory health and social insurance benefits, employees would also receive additional support from Lietuvos Draudimas.
Caring for its employees, Limarko Group earned the status of responsible business. At the beginning of 2020, Limarko Shipping Co. took a honourable second place in the category of medium enterprises. The national Responsible Business Awards are organised on the initiative of the Ministry of Social Security and Labor of the Republic of Lithuania.
