Limarko Group’s transport and logistics company Baltkonta UAB has delivered heavyweight cargo to Orsk (Ural Mountains), Russian Federation
The heavyweight cargo, Cone Crusher CH-660, reached the destination at the Ural Mountains in a multimodal way.
The cargo was delivered to Klaipeda by DFDS ferry from Sweden.
Due to the restrictions on axle loads applied in the Russian Federation, UAB Baltkonta organized reloading from the 3-axle customer’s platform to the 4-axle carrier’s platform in Klaipeda port.
The cargo was then transported by land to the mining facility specified by the customers.
The heavyweight cargo of 30 tons covered the distance of more than 3500 km in 6 days.
